What Planets Are Out Tonight?

April 2019


During the month of April 2019, the planet Mars is the only planet that will be easily visible in the evening sky. (To see a closer view, click on the image.)

After sunset, look for a faint "star" above the western horizon that's to the "right" of the constellation Orion and the stars of the constellation Taurus. That's Mars!
