January through April 2020
During the months of January, February, March, and April 2020, the only planet visible in evenings will be the planet Venus. Look for the bright "star" above the western horizon after sunset--that's Venus!
December 2019
During the month of December 2019, the planets Venus and Saturn will be visible in the evening sky. (To see a closer view, click on the image.)
After sunset, look for two "stars" near to each other, above the western horizon. The brighter of those two is Venus, the fainter one is Saturn!
